Soundguy, I've noticed you seem to be one of the resident experts. I'm sure I'm showing my ignorance, but was the a problem with the I-beam radius rods? I plan to keep the old girl for a long time, so I'd like to repair/rebuild anything likely to break on me. I only have a 2.5 acre lot, mostly wooded, so the 9N is a big toy, but I'd rather not roll down a hill sideways!
no they are fine.. easier to fix when damaged too, imho.
I merely commented on them as there are plenty of year to year changes on the 9n/2n, and you can use those to date a tractor even if it doesn't have a viable engine serial number.. the ibeams are correct for your model.. etc.
