Snow Equipment Owning/Operating How do you break apart the auger gearbox?

My Kubota TG2742, which attach's to the front of my G1800 ate a rock...a big rock. Bunch of bent stuff. Now, I need to get the shaft input, the shaft that comes off the PTO and the fan is on, out of the gear box. The auger shaft just slid out, it was simply keyed. There are four bolts that hold the housing together, unbolted those, but doesn't want to split.

Help!

Probably just a stubborn gasket or sealant. Pry, tap, and cuss. If all else fails, use the Force!

I dont know your machine but check for a C clip, they often "hide", also if you bent a bunch of stuff you may have a slight bend that is causing the hang up. Good luck!
