Another way is an old rim like 38" farmall and run chain or cable over it .
It sets better on the ground.
BTW it also makes great fire ring to cook the steaks on for lunch, right on site /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I still prefer large hoe first and dozer second.
One problem I have is if u don't break some roots on the backside of tree before pulling or pushing they can snap off or split when pulled from above.
U have lots of leverage high up in a tree.
