Some of the files/pictures I post are .gif. Most are .jpeg. Both seem to post equally well. I'm using either Opera or Safari on an Apple machine.

There is one interesting quirk. Some times a 3 to 4 meg picture is downsized by the TBN system and posts. Some times it will not and I have to downsize it prior to posting.

I can never tell which way it's going to be. It's just a quirk and not a real problem. I have two adequate software programs that easily downsize any picture.
