There was a bolt hole at the top and I drilled another at the bottom, had enough clearance that the loader does not hit nuts on backside. 1" bolts and nylocks worked great.

Good deal;will definitely try to do the same. Thanks!

I have a Kubota Grand L 4330 with the LA853 loader. I seal the tubes on the bottom of the loader frame with 4" pipe plugs and store my short chains in there. But, make sure that you plug the back side of these tubes as well, or your chains can slip out. Because of the tight space there I had to disassemble the inside plugs and reassemble them in place.

I have a short chain that I use all of the time. About 2 feet long, with grab hooks on each end, and a slip hook on a clevis. This fits securely in the tube on the left side, right where I need it as I climb off the tractor.

On my tractor there is a long tube brace between the loader arms but it is of a slightly larger diameter. You can sleeve this with 4 inch PVC and use standard pipe plugs there too.

I also fabricated a mount for an ammo can, fits perfectly for the location to the right of the floorboard. I never climb on the right side anyway because of the loader joystick so it was dead space. Haven't painted my mount yet because i am still brainstorming what else to add to it. I designed it to attach to the loader frame using holes that were already there.

don't the chains knock around and drive you crazy in those pvc holders? no, the tractor doesn't ride like the Buick, but to avoid a lot of clanging, i'll just drive to the shed to get the chain when needed. I don't run far distances nor have lots of call for impromptu chaining anything usually. neat ideas, but wary of the clanging!

Chains in PVC holders don't clang. They never move.

Sometimes I wrap the chain around the 3 pt. lift arms

The other day I tie-wired some antifreeze jugs to the box blade... has worked out ok so far. Easier than wrapping chains around stuff and hopin they stay put. Short term fix... quick and free!

I leave my chains hooked the hooks on the bucket hooks and it works for me. There are times when I have used plastic jugs and I find the orange colored laundry detergent containers from Tide to be the most rugged.
