How do you store your grease gun

I bought a big semi-clear plastic tub from Wally that is about 6" deep. I covered the inside bottom with newspapers [ heaven only knows why for I have never changed them ]. The tub is big enough that I can keep all four of my guns [ and a few plastic containers of spare ends, needle lub'r's, etc. ] in laying down. And I put the cover on it when I am done. Slid into an out of the way place. Works fer me ......

I built this and add a little oil dry to each tube.

Some years ago I switched to Super Lube for this same reason. It is NSF H1 rated so I use it for everything, even lubed the kitchen faucet ball socket that was squeaking. Super Lube is used on the tractor, all of my autos and in all of my firearms for things like bolts and levers, along with Mobil 1 for everything else. I have had no grease leaks/puddling for a very long time, even here in the hot south. Super Lube is not inexpensive and I purchase by the case for a price break.

I wanted a little more concealment for my expensive battery grease gun with quick easy access, so I grab my Dewalt grease gun, walked around my garage several times looking for useless space for anything else. I've found that between 2x6 studs makes excellent storage places and this spot is was must of been made for battery grease gun storage, it fits Grrrreeaat, out of the way, easy access, stays clean, also I havn't noticed any leaking from battery grease guns like the hand pump models.

I store mine on a hook with a magnet holding the hose tip up, a rag around the hinge and a brown jersey glove on the bottom.

That grease gun is too clean.
I just throw mine on the shelf under my work table. Sure it gets a little grimy after a while but a wipe down about yearly with solvent and rag clean it up nicely. I do wipe off he grease gun after each use with a paper towel but I don't intend it to be surgically cleaned.

I have the same Dewalt. One of the best tools I own and about the only thing that had enough pressure to lube a couple difficult fittings on my tractor that others failed at- including a Lincoln manual model. I had even replaced the fittings to no avail.
