how does 7308 joystick work?

It was new in the crate but sat for years so some parts looked brand new like the stickers but other parts were faded & rusted.

Now I think I have my hoses backwards or something, can someone please answer, if you pull the joystick all the way, straight back does it lift or lower the loader? Mine lowers the loader when I pull the joystick straight back. My Case 580 is the exact opposite & it would lift the loader. Thanks for any input. This is a little tough w/o directions. When I push it to the left it curls the bucket & to the right dumps the bucket now that exacty the same as my Case 580 so I think I have this hooked up correctly.

as jinman stated, rear is boom up, forward is boom down.

without looking at my tc30 that sounds like what i've got. the stick should move forward (lower boom), rearward (raise boom), left (curl bucket up), right (dump bucket), right a little bit more (quickly dump bucket). if it doesn't move forward, back, left, right something is wrong.
