I did a live tv show once with the Rockettes (New Years Eve live from las vegas). We built a stage in front of Ceasars. Girls came up to dance, I watched an entire stage bounce up and down off the ground. Girls got really upset and would not dance anymore. Amazing how 50 people all jumping up and down at once can create so much force.

When I was in the service, upon crossing a bridge, we were always given the command "route step march" (route as in routy, disorganized, non-uniform) so that we wouldn't generate an oscillation in the bridge at the frequency of our cadence if we all were "in step".
