I'm still shaking my head at the concept of speeding tickets to a tractor operator. I'd about bet the judge got a laugh at that one!
HEre in our (rather backwoods) state, you must have a DRIVERS license to operate anything that exceeds 25 MPH. That was intended to prevent kids from ripping through the streets on hopped up scooters.
I got to spend a week operating a CAT 627B twin engine pan a few summers back. That was a hair raising experience when I floorboarded the throttle in high gear. Last time I TRIED to run a grader, I never even managed to get it moving. Talk about too many levers and pedals!
