Do Europeans pay any income taxes or are all their taxes paid with the money they spend?
A basic part is fairly low on tax. Whenever you have a modal salary, and get a raise, reckon its 37% of that part which is tax. ( i have no idea what the tax is on basic income)
Dont know if its still exactly that percentage, the health care system is changed 2 years ago, partly privatised, so work will be done more efficient, and there will be a controlled amount of competition, just like in the "real world economy" Not too much though, because health care is a basic right which should be affordable for anyone, not just for the rich and healthy.
To beat down a great amount of bureaucracy, the government wants to promote competition among health insurers. They cannot reject anyone with a chronical disease though, to prevent that we'll live or die "like any other animal"
