I have quite a few cousins in Ohio and Kentucky... lots of you's and fixin's going on down there back in the holler.
My Grandfather's folks were from Bowling Green. Born in 1886, his language was peppered with some quaint words, like "fit" for "fought", "haint" for "ain't", "caint" for "can't" and "them for "those". He also liked to use the term "sunzabitchez". He was the light of my life and I miss him terribly.
