Sounds high, if you go to muttonpower.com and look at their prices, they have a new 3520 with 300x loader and comfortguard cab for only 3k more.

Good point... however, the 300X loader wouldn't be my first choice! Get the 300CX.

I sent the same quote request to a different dealer an hour away and he is able to get me out the door WITH an MX5 bush hog for $28,500...

I would offer 18% off of the list price, but settle on 15% off. When I bought my 2009 3720 with a 300CX FEL and some other goodies, I shot the dealer the 15% discount offer and he accepted it right away. As I drove off after signing the deal, I scolded myself for not trying for 18% off. You have nothing to lose by going a little lower and working up. The economy still is not good, that's why you can get free money from JD for 60 months.

BTW, you'll love the tractor!

Well, I went and test drove a Kubota 3940 just to give a good comparison and then went and test drove the JD 3520. The JD just seemed like a more comfortable and easier to operate machine.

Final deal was the 3520 woth a 300 cx loader, Frontier RC 2060 5' bush hog, quick hitch, automotive cruise control, front and rear work lights, 3rd scv, umbrella, draw bar and receiver hitch. Out the door for $28,422.

I'm sure there are better deals, but I was pretty happy with it. It was $2500 cheaper than the best deal the local dealer would give me. I wound up getting it from a dealer 40 min away in NC.

Gonna be hard waiting for it,as it'll arrive at the dealer while I'm out at sea, so I'll have to schedule the delivery for April sometime.

Got it delivered yesterday and spent the mowing down 4' fields. Got about 5 acres done and it didn't break a sweat. I did get a chance to try out the 4wd on a few drainage ditches. Fortunately for me, the 5' bush hog that they had set aside for me wound up getting sold out from under me and so they coughed up a 6' frontier bush hog. I also opted for the 5' box blade. Only issue is that neither the 3rd SCV or the front work lights were installed. The dealer is a little lethargic, but their prices are good.

Anyway, I'll post some pics this weekend.
