The information from my dealer is that the markup on the Kubota website is around 20% over the wholesale price. My dealer says he has to make 8% to break even. To survive and pay the bills may take that number to 10%. In the end, if you can get 10% off of the website price it is probably a good deal.
So.... if you're "on the money" or more correctly - your dealer is on the money - then Kubota must cost more than a comparable John Deere; yes??
Say, a Grand L 5740 vs cab model 4520? They spec out almost bolt for bolt...
