If I recall correctly, some of the earlier RTVs had an issue with shifting. I noticed the same thing you did when watching that video. I think the issue had to do with the transmission building up pressure which, in turn, could prevent you from shifting. Kubota remedied this by adding a pressure release knob. Either that is an earlier model in the video or they didn't know the knob was there.
