"How many are too many ?"
How many bubbles in a bar of soap ?

"As long as you use them, go for it" or something like that.......

I only have 3 three point implements.
Post hole digger
5' back blade
Home made receiver hitch, with a home made sub soiler tooth.

Post pictures of unusual implements
Enjoy

You can never have too many.

As mentioned above, also applies to tools, guns, fishin' poles, etc.

Sell one, and next thing you know you'll need it again.

If you have determined that the implements will help you farm or maintain your property easier and better, by all means yes go for it. As long as the equipment is stored and maintained properly, it will be available for use in the future. The only restrictions that I can see is the lack of funds to purchase our Toys and convincing our Wives of the urgent need for additional equipment. Everyone have a Happy Day.:):tractor:

There comes a point where it just makes sense to have more than one tractor. So that being said, if I get enough attachments it stands to reason the wife should let me get another tractor....Correct? Just thinking out loud here.

It's crazy. I have a 6' disk, 6' shredder, 6' box blade, 8x8 drag harrow, hay spear, 500 pound spreader, and quick-detach pallet forks and hay spear for the FEL. And I still want a chisel, rototiller and a flail mower!

So far: 3 discs with drags, 2 grain drills (one is a parts donor), a 2-14 plow, 10 ft cultipacker, baler (2-twine, small squares), bale squeeze/bale accumulator combo, sprayer with 10-ft boom, 3 sicklebar mowers, 10-ft side delivery hay rake (5-bar), 4-ft rototiller, 4-ft box blade, 5-ft back blade, 55 gal water buffalo. Presently building a 10-ft wide drop-type grass seeder. Just bought a 2-row bean planter (a birthday present to myself).

Forgot to list the 68" wide flail mower.

Yes and no. If all of the attachments are of a similar size, then only one tractor is needed. But when certain attachments are either to large or to small to use with the same tractor, then a different size tractor is often needed. My first new tractor was a 75hp machine, but as projects got done it was obvious that I needed a smaller tractor to do a lot of the finer close in chores.

That's been the story I've been sticking with.....

Yup, told my son many years ago, when I go don't expect money. Just a lot of used sporting equipment. He's good with that. :)
Just remember how the game is to be played. That last 5$ from your retirement fund is supposed to be used as a tip to the guy filling in your grave - with what else??? Why a TLB of course.:D
