My question would be... How many is too many of the same kind of implements? I bought a second tractor and got a second rotary cutter and boxblade in the deal. Whether or not I keep the old Massey I can't see any need for 2 of each as I'm the only person that uses them. But they WILL come in handy for financing a stump bucket and what ever else I may need.![]()
Far as tractors go, I personally own 2, bought new a year apart and I'm the only operator as well.
The reason I have 2 is one stays hitched to the BR780 all the time and the other runs various attachments, all, much easier to hitch and unhitch than the 780 and the 780 is a computer operated bailer so there is an in the cab control unit, the accompanying wiring and cables, all a PITA to take off.
I'd actually consider a third just for ease of operation sake and even less hitching and unhitching.....
The third would be an open station unit. Cabs are wonderful for bailing and mowing but an open station is nice for raking and tedding.
Finally, with multiple power units, each accrues less hours than a single multi-tasking tractor and when selling or trading, hourmeters are everything.
