How many carry extra magazine concealed carry.

When seconds count,, Police are minuets to hours away.

Here in the U.S . The courts have ruled,that Police have no duty to protect you..That tells me you need to be prepared to protect yourself

I held, at gunpoint, a person who kicked in the front door (very solid door) of my dad's house this past January. I called 911 and explained that I had an intruder, at gunpoint, and didn't know how many total intruders there were, and that police better get there ASAP. State police arrived 40-45 minutes later. This is after the alarm company had, according to them, already called the police to notify them of a possible break-in. I already had the mindset that I am responsible for the safety of my family, but if anyone else needs an explanation as to why some of us conceal carry, and are vigilant, this should be a pretty good explanation. The criminal walked right past our home to get to my dad's house, which was empty at the time. I made sure I explained to my wife exactly what could have happened if I hadn't been home from work yet and if he had chosen our home instead of one that was just a quarter of a mile away.

I don稚. The odds seem astronomical that I壇 ever get into a situation where I壇 need more than 7 rounds. And if I did, that extra magazine would need to be right there with the gun. That would make carrying more uncomfortable, therefor making it less likely for me to have my gun on me. I don稚 disagree with having an extra, but I just personally don稚 worry about it.

That's kind of the way I figure it too.

Part of being a responsible gun owner is knowing where your gun is at all times and the state of it, meaning is it loaded or cleared.

This is the thing that amazes me about people shooting themselves taking a gun out of the safe or finding out it was loaded after it goes off at a gun show.... do you never clear your weapons? Only my wife and I have access to the gunsafe and I still clear them every time I put them in or take them out.....

People with concealed weapons permits do not shoot people for road rage insults. You dont have a clue what it is like to carry a concealed firearm. Not a clue. All you have are media fueled stereotypes. Because you live in another country, and have no frame of reference to base you opinion on, I can forgive your ignorance. But I will assure you that the weight of responsibility that comes with carrying a concealed weapon is huge. This rant is not meant as a personal attack, but a feeble attempt to educate you and others.

Wow sensitive aren't ya......you may want to read my previous points .......and quite frankly getting educated by the likes of your attitude only proves one thing to me ........I am glad I live in Canada where things are not so black and white and differences of opinion are not immediately slotted into one of two camps.
