Wawajake, there's plenty of regions in USA that still don't lock there cars and doors at night. I'm sure they're more the exception than the rule though. The big problem I see is drugs & violence, not necessarily guns. The sheer numbers of population here vs there increases the odds of running into a crazed meth head or heron addict. I wouldn't think your larger cities are that much different. The media bombards us with violence from across the entire world, instantaneously and somewhat sensationalism. Hollywood and the video game developers are also culprits promoting sex, drugs & violence. Gory stuff. So as keeping with the thread topic, I don't carry extra mags, you don't need too, I probably should, but that's more of a perceived need, not actual. I recently read you have a 80% chance of surviving a gunshot, 50/50 of a knife wound and only 20% surviving blunt force trauma., bat, pipe, large stick, rock etc. I think carrying a gun just makes people feel safer. Whether in actuality or perceived. Maybe in the Middle East they could pass a Law to limit mag cap. , and guns to be locked up with trigger guards?
Of course sales and robberies of clubs and knifes would skyrocket
