How many class 1 (TC 18,21,24) owners out there?

I have a TC-18 with Hydrostat....Love that machine and it has approximately 250 hours on it (125 from me) with no problems.

Mark, what part of Indiana do you live? We're a few miles outside of Lowell in NW Indiana. I noticed you are a retired principle, my wife just left a career in banking after 15 years to take a massive pay cut to become a teacher in High School, which she found out she hates, largely because the parents expect her to fix all the neglect they foisted onto their children for their 16 year life spans.

Good question...I initially looked at the 18 but figured that since all machines in that class were physically the same size I could always find a use for the extra HP. ...which I did. Im glad went w/ the 24 b/c I have some pretty steep hills on my property and the extra HP makes going up/down w/ a mower easier. I also used it out in the woods for skidding logs and general moving of junk and rocks (lots of big rocks). There were times in the woods I wished I had a bigger machine. That said a midchassis machine would have been too big (physically speaking). For what I do the 24 is great w/ a bit of slop to boot.
