How many owners who bought a tractor in the last 5 years wish they had never bought?

I own a 2014 Mahindra 3016 and it has 120 hours on it so far. I bought it new from the dealer. I mow a large field behind my house, use it to haul wood and pull out smaller stumps. I have a quick connect attachment with a bucket and forks, too. So far, I have not had any issues with it at all. I hope it provides me years of valuable service!

I have a 2011 5035 HST open station with backhoe and a cab'd 2016 2555 HST..... both of which I am glad I could buy and use the last twenty years or so of my life. No regrets, other than all the years I put up with older tractors. Life is good...... :) Was really looking hard at the New Hollands/Case, but then they stopped sourcing them from Suburu..... and lost interest. Waited too long pulling the trigger..... Once I saw the 5035 with it's huge 14X17.5 front tires... I had stirrings down below I had not had in many, many years....

Hi Jerry, I was wondering if you could share your buying experience. I live just to the south of you, and was wondering if you bought at our local dealer. I'm considering the 2555 hstc with the the 78" front mount blower, and wondering about any potential issues to be aware of, and how the dealer was after the sale- warranty issues, general service, etc. Thank you in advance,

Scott

I bought my 2011 5035 from the dealer in Rudyard, closest two dealers at that time were West Branch and up in Rudyard. My 2016 2555 is from Zaremba. Both buying experiencing were great, with a special THANK YOU to Kathy Gaylor there in Rudyard for getting me a loan approved. I had been buying stuff for cash for so many years that I had no credit history except my credit card. I am in the process of buying my second tractor from Zaremba [ little 1526 ], and the head salesman Roger Hansen will give you a fast no nonsense out the door cash price. With the only problem if you want to finance all or part of it, which always changes the prices and confuses the heck out of me... even after I have had it explained to me... it goes in one ear and out the other.... I had to do some mods on the 2555 for blowing snow. I put a piece of sign plastic [ Wally stuff ] with a 9" hole centered on the fan in front of the radiator to let it heat up some. I also relocated the horn so I could rotate the Donalson type air cleaner with it input pointed up, then ran a piece of clear plastic tube [ stuff that carpenters use in their sawdust collection systems ] to relocate the air intake up by the top of the radiator. There is post on this from back in 2016 if you look back... Blowing fine snow would get sucked into the air cleaner sometimes and the outer element was getting wetted by the fine snow. Put the intake up higher stopped that from being a problem. Not something you have to even think about with a rear blower.... I put a 2" schd 80 split pipe from Gaylord Machine [ had them widen their stock opening to fit ] on the cutting edge of the blower since I have Afton stone drive....

Mahindra has the best price of any tractor but the problems they have had are making me think twice - pay less now but end up paying more later on because of a lower quality product. Just trying to get as much input as possible. I don't see the same type of issues with New Holland that make me think they are cutting corners.

Buy the tractor your research shows is not having a problem. All tractors are mechanical devices. Mechanical devices that are composed of many complex parts, parts that could fail regardless of the name on the tractor.
