How many owners who bought a tractor in the last 5 years wish they had never bought?

Mine is 7 years old and nothing in the problem department has ever stopped what I needed to do. Maybe he (4tillingdirt) is hitting on the "foreign" made thing, his TC40 is made by Shibaura in Japan and badged a New Holland. If he purchased a New Holland why is he posting here? Seems like he should be more interested in what might go wrong with what he bought not what Mahindra owners are having problems with. I think he is just trying to stir the pot.

I have a feeling he's shopping for a mahindra or trying to talk himself out of one. Not necessarily to stir the pot. I will say the way he jumped the on koua will probably not get him any help in the future by him though. You can still be tactful on a forum

Yeah but you own a kioti not a Mahindra - this is under Mahindra owners forum.

You should keep in mind that a lot of folks like me simply use the "new posts" link to see everything that is going on the forum.
With your post as written you will get replies from all brand owners.
If you want to limit response to a specific brand you may consider rewording your post.

Yep, that is me. Sorry, I just look at all the posts in the forum, and never pay any attention to the subforums. And the way it was worded, the word "tractor" should have been the word Mahindra I guess. In any case... sorry.

so far love mine - just wish i used it more - but when i do i do so much with it and it saves my busted up back and body and does thongs in 1/10 the time at least - yes mahindra.

didn't mean any harm - I just thought K0ua didn't see that the new post was under the Mahindra section. I appreciate all the feedback. I am not worried about where something is built because in the world we live in it doesn't matter much any more. That TC40 is my brother's tractor - I was on here before because he actually did have a serious problem with his a few years ago. New Holland was slack about putting some type of locking device on the nuts that hold the front drive flange and he lost 4 wheel drive when the bolts backed off. Other than that he hasn't had any issues.

Mahindra has the best price of any tractor but the problems they have had are making me think twice - pay less now but end up paying more later on because of a lower quality product. Just trying to get as much input as possible. I don't see the same type of issues with New Holland that make me think they are cutting corners.

I guess you haven't seen the latest dealer satisfaction survey results where NH was at or near the bottom of nearly every category. Frankly, I was a bit surprised by that myself.

Yeah that is what I am looking for - people who have bought Mahindra in the past 5 years and regret it because of issues, etc. Mahindra has a good price on them, but a lot of people complain about them. More so than the other brands I have researched anyway.

Kioti owner comes over to the number one selling tractor in the WORLD and starts this? Go read the stats in the pined post under the buying/purchasing section of this forum. You are way off base and a long way from "home"

I bought my Mahindra in 2014. If I could jump into a time machine and go back, I'd do the same exact thing. It has performed flawlessly despite me over working it many times. No Mahindra bashing from me.

I have a 2011 5035 HST open station with backhoe and a cab'd 2016 2555 HST..... both of which I am glad I could buy and use the last twenty years or so of my life. No regrets, other than all the years I put up with older tractors. Life is good...... Was really looking hard at the New Hollands/Case, but then they stopped sourcing them from Suburu..... and lost interest. Waited too long pulling the trigger..... Once I saw the 5035 with it's huge 14X17.5 front tires... I had stirrings down below I had not had in many, many years....
