What year and model was it, and did you have any major repairs? Are you religious about scheduled maintenance?
200,000 is easily attainable these days, my 1998 Sierra had that and still ran good, although I did put a rebuilt tranny in at 130K, then a Mr Goodwrench transmission in about 25000 miles later.
I've also had several trucks which had well over 150K when I upgraded.
100,000K is no longer the milestone that it was, rather than being considered high mileage that's the point when most drive train warranties run out.
Nearly every truck I've owned in the last 30 years has easily hit 100,000.

My father's boss back in the day had a 69 Olds with a big block rocket V8. I have no idea how many times that thing tripped over 100K. He worked at the local Allis Chalmers dealership and one of their mechanics was at that time an old certified GM tech with years of experience. I think that they replaced the transmission in it 3 or 4 times and had well over 300K on the engine. His boss drove it into the early 90's and everything on it was rusted out. I know that the owner was a stickler for maintenance and changed the oil every 2K miles and kept the car up.

Two for me:
a) 1986 Toyota Corrolla SR5 that was titled as a 1987 model (last year of the rear wheel drive model). Bought it used for $200 with a blown head gasket and roughly 95000 miles in 1993. Fixed that and girlfriend (who eventually became my wife) put another 205000 miles on it. It was still going strong at 300k when I sold it in 2004. Not a single problem with it other than air conditioner clutch did quit working towards the end. Simply removed the V-belt and did not fix it. That car gained almost 2 mpg after removing that AC belt. Really a great car but not what I would call a comfortable car as far as ride quality which is why I did sell it instead of running it into the ground and she was getting rusty. As far as maintenance changed oil and filter with Castrol GTX conventional oil every 4k miles and that was it other than I did the timing belt when I fixed the head gasket and 1 other time as preventative.

b) 2004 Chevrolet Aveo Sedan LS. Bought it brand new tax title and everything for under $10K in 2004. 340,000 miles and still runs like new. Not sure why, but this car runs better than any other Aveo (or Sonic) I have driven. Looked at trading it in a few times when it was still relatively new and in the 80K to 90K mile range and surprisingly my car ran way better than the brand new turds I was test driving. Needless to say, I never took my car back to the dealer for service as I was afraid the dealer would re-flash my computer as a part of some update and make a turd out of mine. Car has been flawless really and rides very comfortably. Replaced both front wheel bearings at well over 250K miles, idler on the serpentine belt went (about $35 to fix myself), upper plastic thermostat housing cracked (replaced with a metal one for $30) and that is about it other than normal wear items. Heck the original battery lasted over 11 years. This car will get driven into the ground and go from me (and the wife who also loves it) to the scrap yard. As far as maintenance: Castrol Syntec synthetic oil every 6K in the early years but often run that out to 8K or 9K or so now that car is old. Timing belt changed every 90K as preventative maintenance as it is an interference engine.

A neighbor up in Anchorage had an old Mercedes 180 diesel that he claimed went over 420,000. Surprisingly the exterior looked good. The interior smelled something like a rat nest. It had that old style velour cloth interior. Ride in it for an hour or so - - your clothing smelled like a rat nest.

You must not live in the rust belt. Here 10-14 years is when 95% of vehicles are DOA from rust issues.

I've bought 3 vehicles wiht high miles - an 01 expedition, 225,000, all original parts (water pump, trans, etc). Trans when shortly after as I used it for towing. All the suspension had rusted out and the rockers were about to go.
A 79 RX7, 195k, fairly rusty underneath but fixable, burned oil like nobody's business - looked like a 2 stroke. Qt every 50-60 miles! Fourth time I drove it I was hit and it was totaled.
An 03 taurus, 130k or so when I bought it, 185k when I traded it (alternator went again, rust starting) but still had the factory exhaust. Ran and drove perfectly.

Bought an 04 F350 - be rotted beyond repair, some cab rust on rockers but otherwise good. 106k miles. $4k. Hope to keep it 100k miles.

But when you can buy 100k mile truck for under $5k, why keep a high mileage unit?

Had a friend with a Prius, got 405k when his daughter was hit and they totaled the car. He drives A LOT - we live in PA, he took an alaska cruise and drove to alaska. Used to drive to FLA and take pics of the shuttle launches and drive back.

I had a '97 Dodge Intrepid. Bought it as a 1yr old with about 18K miles on it. Found out later that it was originally a Hertz rental car. I kept up on all the maintenance per the owner's manual. Had oil seals replaced at some point because it was leaving oil stains where it was parked. I finally gave it away after 250K miles and owning it for 20 years. Mechanically it was still in excellent shape, no oil leaks, and should go for many many more miles. It spent it's life in the Florida sun and rarely saw the inside of a garage or carport and the plastic parts were cracking and falling apart, but the primary reason I got rid of it was that it was to low to the ground for me to get in and out of.

1995 Ford Explorer Sport. 4.0 litre V6. 400,000 miles.

Was kept Krown'd to keep from rotting out in the salt. In it's life only had to replace tires, stereo sub woofer, brakes and rotors, shocks, wiper blades, both front wheel bearings, battery, exhaust pipe and fuel pump. Recharged air conditioning once.

Was best vehicle I ever owned.

My 96 dodge 2500 cummins had 380k before the front axel broke, I sold it to my brother and his buddy, they redid it and sold it still on the road. Changed oil at 3-5k fuel filter and air filter every other oil change, and just kept on the maintenance. I purchased it in 99 with 72k, last Jan is when I let it go. I have a 05 I found down south back in 2012 with 55k, getting close to 100k now. My brother has seen many diesel pickups with close to 500k one of his customers has a 94 dodge coming up on 600k diesel. Had body redone at about 450k. He has seen a couple toyota tacoma's old ones pushing 500k. The 05 I'm driving now I'll keep her till she dies probably put 300k or more on it. The only reason I didn't buy mu 96 back is I didn't need two trucks. It killed me to not do it but I had the same truck nine years newer 300k less miles. When this 05 starts to rot out I'll have this one rebuilt, salt here get everything eventually. Replace fluids and filters and take care of it they last! Might not look pretty but they last

My first truck when I started driving at age 16 in 2001 was a 1984 Mazda B2000. If you're doing math, it was a year older than I was. It ran like a top with >200k miles on when I got it and still ran like a top with >300k miles when I sold it despite a few years of undue torture at the hands of a teenage male. I did maintain it mechanically, oil changes, etc. because I worked at a lube shop and all that was free so I had no reason not to. But I did unreasonably cruel things to it, like learn how and teach friends how to drive a 5-speed (including shifting into 1st gear at 70mph and taking the engine RPM up into 5 digits), running into/over large objects, "mudding," doing awesome burnouts, causing electrical fires under the dash with my "custom" stereo install, hauling loads in the bed that weighed more than the truck, etc. and somehow managed to not break anything. It never gave me any major problem. I think I might have replaced the thermostat once, that's about it.

1988 S-10 Blazer. Bought new and sold with 321,000 miles on it. 4.3L V-6 engine. Drive train was all original - never touched - but the body (things like the window regulators falling apart) was giving me problems.
