my daily pickup has 330K and i've owner several over 300. a couple over 200. All have been 92-97 ford. most diesel. i did just replace the 7.3 in my daily since i had to pull the motor to fix a leak. figured i'd put a rebuild in since it was out and it didn't make sense to put the old one back in. i've have it for 180K been in the family for over 210K. i've done the work needed when it was needed. truck has been modded since 180K and more or less pulls trailers all the time.

That was a good engine, and one of GM's best truck years IMHO. My '98 had the V-6 which was also a good motor although no better on fuel than your 350. I liked the size of the extended cabs they made back then; there was enough room for kids, dogs and gear but not overly large the way that they are now.

2006 Lexus 400h Hybrid, owned since new. At 298K and going strong, not a hint of trouble. I do most maintenance myself, average about 8000 miles between oil changes. Never a major repair, most expensive preventative maintenance I've had to do is replacing the timing belt two times.

I couldn't be happier with the factory for the warranty/voluntary recall work they've done. Replaced the hybrid inverter system two times under recalls at no cost (most recently about 30K miles ago), and just replaced the entire dashboard at 270K miles for no cost under recall for having a 2 inch crack in it.

There's a big difference between a vehicle lasting X miles with a variety of work done (I guess at least the body and chassis were good?) and a vehicle lasting the same distance with only wear & tear items (brakes, clutch, tires, ball joints, etc).

Myself F350 is creeping up on miles, I'm only driving about 6k/year now, I've got 200k with just a sensor (cam position) and a variety of wear & tears...

Highest mileage vehicle I had was a 2003 Honda Civic which had 243k miles on it when I sold it to a college kid. Last I heard it was still running great and getting her back and forth to college.

I bought it at 140K with a blown head gasket for $2000, fixed it myself, drove it another 100k miles, then sold it for what I paid for it.

Got a 2006 Honda Ridgeline now at 220K miles. Only thing that doesn’t work is the A/C. I’ll fix it come springtime.

There is a man locally who owns a MB station wagon with diesel that has over 2 million miles original motor and tranny. He is a former MB mechanic. The Dodge 4500 I drive daily has 256000 and last year sold one of our dump trucks with 500000 miles on it original motor
