How many people wax their rims?

No wax on my rims, but on occasion I have salt on the rim of my glass.

Part of my winter prep includes a good coat of wax on the inner and outer halves of rim. I believe this gives them a little protection from the salt that they spread everywhere and keeps the snow from builing up in rim. My parents live several blocks away and thus the exposure to road salt!

I washed mine today in preparation for taking off my front end loader and putting on my snowblower. My rims are perfect - they look like they have never been used. They don't have a scratch, but I didn't wax them either.

My dog washes my wheels. As long as I roll them some every day he eventualy works his way around them. He also does my truck tires.

And the great thing is you didn't even have to train him to do it.

I don't even wash my truck...I just let nature (rain) take care of that.
