You might want to actually spell out the attachments/options, alot of people don't know what all of the abbreviations/acronyms stand for.

I tried to enter my 2003, CK20HST,that I bought in 9/10/04. The form wouldn't accept the date? Won't it take anything back that far?

This is great! I've been frustrated with my research when it comes to price. When I try to compare tractors of different makes and compare the cost for what you get, I seem to get the standard "call for a quote". This feature makes it easier to make an educated decision. Thanks!

FYI The reason you get the "Call for Quote" from Kioti dealers is because we aren't allowed to post prices anywhere except VERY localized publications.

It's not because we want to do it that way necessarily....I've been spanked for it LOL

This is a great idea to give dealers (and potential buyers) who think they are selling tractors at an awesome deal a reality check. I have read some posts from dealers who claim to sell them dirt cheap and when I compare their so-called "great deals" to what I paid in the great state of Texas, i think they are screwing people. I just checked the price for my tractor model and it said the average price was $18,066. I bought a brand new tractor last year and bought a package deal from a great dealer in TX and paid $19k. However, my package consisted of an 18' tandem axle trailer, the tractor with loader, shredder, and box blade. When the dealer gave me a break down on the prices, the tractor itself was only $13k. So according to this tractor price website, the national (or global) average is about $5k more than I paid. FYI, my tractor was purchased new in April, 2008.

In order to effectively use this or any other price resource (including TBN or your own research), you must compare apples to apples. You can't compare the price of a tractor only to the price of a tractor with three attachments and a trailer. All of those factors must be considered.

The price guide can filter results to show only prices with specific attachments, which helps filter out prices that might not be of any interest.

So in your case, the average of $18k includes tractors with attachments, while the $13k quote you received was for a tractor with no attachments.
