Gee I only got 26! I thought I'd be a bit smarter than that...... I love WWII history and was named after my uncle who didn't return. (if anyone cares)

23. got most of the pacific correct and most of the Russian stuff correct. Got all the general questions. Missed a lot of specific battle and operation names, though.

Some of the narrative is wrong. Example: narrative says landings at D Day were the largest, not true, landing at leyte gulf ww2 were bigger. HS

Leyte gulf was a naval battle. D-Day was an invasion.

Leyte gulf involved about 400 ships between the U.S., Australia and Japan. D-Day invasion involved about 7000 ships, just on the Allied side alone. Leyte was considered the largest naval battle. D-Day was the largest invasion in history.

Maybe I'm mixing up the landing with the naval battle... time for some more reading.
