How much weight on B3030 tow bar?

Hello!

I am thinking about towing my 3.5 meter trailer to transport a load of fire wood.
I can mount a ball on the standard tow bar I have found under the PTO, but how much weight can I pull with this tow bar?

I couldn't find any towing specs on your B3030 but it is similar in size to one of my previous tractors. I had a Mahindra 2615HST with loader, 26 HP. Weight with loader was about 3500-3600 lb. I used mine to move a 30' camping trailer weighing about 6000 Lb. but only did so on level ground. I would have never tried to go up or down hill for lack of stopping ability. Also used to move other trailers around as needed in the 2500 lb range. Your tractor with loader a weighs similar 3000-3500 lb. I think you'd have no problem towing a 3.5 meter trailer with a load of wood weighing about 3000 lb. on level ground. Up or down hill would be tough to stop or have enough traction. If used on level ground I have towed about twice the tractors weight without worry.
Hopefully a 3030 owner will reply with some more accurate numbers.

In my opinion, if you're towing on the level, you can pull a ton or a click over with no problem. I believe the manual recommends 1,500 lbs. Here is a shot of my B3030 towing a lift around the property that weighs in close to a ton.

My B3200, which is the same tractor with a few less features, is rated to tow 3300lbs (1495kg) and handle 800lbs (362kg) of tongue weight. I'm sure yours is similar. That said, if it is tough going, i.e. steep, soft, slick, etc sometimes it may only tow half that much.

Small world, I have that same lift, except I have the dual power model that also has a gas engine on it. I love it. Have you found any kind of forum for folks who own these things?

I don't know of any chat rooms for these lifts. The lift in the pic was rented by me to clean my chimney. I have a very difficult chimney and prefer to clean my flue pipe from the top down, keeping the wood insert door locked and all the cresote inside. Here's a shot of me on another lift, cleaning the chimney.
