How Remove Rear PTO Shield on Kubota BX24

Hi
Trying to remove rear PTO cover/PTO protector on Kubota BX24. Facing the rear pulled the small cotter on left side but cannot figure out how to get the shaft (160) move over to release the right side of cover. Any one know the trick?

Wondered if maybe have remove 140 cylinder cover circled in red?

This all in aid of pull the PTO cover which is leaking, but the PRO protector is in the way.

Looks to me like you'd simply push the pin, compressing the spring, and you should be able to swing the guard away from the tractor.

Thanks, I tried to move the shaft again and it turns but will not move left nor is there a gap to slide any thing to the right to lever it along. If anyone who has removed the PTO cover could please weight in. Should the shaft slide or do you need remove the cylinder cover?

I'm also unsure if the Ball Holder and Ball have anything to do with retaining the shaft? that's 200 and 210.

Did you try 24oz of encouragement to move? Looks like a push pin to me as well.

Just took a look at mine but didn't have time to pull it apart. WAG: remove the cotter, pull the end plate (170) off, grab the end of the pin or stick a wire in the cotter hole and pull.

Thanks guys! it does slide, just took much more Persuasion wd 40 and vice grips to break it lose but I finally got it off.
