I'll bite, why do you spray your minnows with WD-40?

Not my post but WD-40 on minnows is supposed to increase the predator bite. Some fishermen (and fisherwomen) swear by it. It is also used on lures.

I've never noticed a difference but I gave up on using it after a couple of tries.

We had a we used on the RV lot (anybody that knows rv's know how much all the locks suck) and he recommended only using Tri Flow in locks. A little squirt will do. It's an aerosol spray that goes in a liquid then turns into a very light grease/protective film. Teflon based, so probably the same stuff you were thinking of.

On a side note, it also comes in little pen drop applicators with a needle that makes it perfect for firearms.

I am a locksmith & I have used Tri-flow for years, does a great job in most locks.
