The rear remotes was one of the best purchase decision's I made.
Mark, does this mean you ran lines from the rear remotes to the front?

Did you do this so you wouldn't have to modify FEL control hyd lines?

Mike,
This is exactly the reason I wanted a set of remotes and yes, I did run a set of lines from the rear of the tractor up to the front. They were made 14' which is a couple feet to long, but thats ok. There is always a way to tie back the excess.
To alter the FEL lines seemed to complicated for my simple mind. The rear remote allows me to operate a wood splitter etc. But it is mainly for the power angle on the snow plow.
All it requires now is to pick it up, lock the quick tach levers, hook up the 2 hydraulic lines and away I go.

Nice looking job. same plow set up that I had on my JD. But plow has been modified and is now on the bota. It now attactes to the quick connect for the blower. This AM it is time to use the blower. 4" of powder last night.

Hi Mark,

Nice setup! Wish I had the quick attach FEL!

Just wondering though. With the blade so far out front, does it gouge when a wheel goes into a little rut or dip?

It seems to me that skids or wheels on the blade, plus setting the stick to the "float" position would allow it to follow contours perfectly. But then, I know nothing about snow plowing. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Jim,
I have reduced some of the photos taken at the welding shop. They will show better how the plows A frame is attached to the quick tach.
In this photo you can see the whole assembly. The upright piece is of course a tower from a Fisher Minute Mount plow. I obtained this from a local fisher dealer. It was a take off / throw away from a accident replacement. Freebee to me. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Jason the welder, welded a piece of flat stock to the lower portion of the quick tach plat for strength and support. Then he used his plasma cutter to cut 4 ears / tabs to conform to the shape of the lower piece of the tower. These tabs stick out just far enough so that the plow can pivot or float on it's own when necessary. So when one of the front wheels drops the plow more or less stays it's course.
If I put the FEL into the float position, it allows the quick tach and the plows A frame to drop and drag on the ground. So I just lower things enough for the plow to make adequate contact with the ground.
I spent 2 hours this morning plowing out my yard and my neighbors (landlords Mom). The plow works slick.

Heres another angle of the Tower, A frame and it will give you a close look at the ears / tabs that the plow itself pins in to

This photo shows Jason himself and another shot of the whole plow / frame etc.
It sure looks like the plow is going to get a good workout. I plowed lastnight for an hour, this morning for 2 hours and seeing how it is still snowing. I am sure that I will have to plow at least once more if not twice.

I have posted photos of this product before and it is now definatly on my wish list big time. This cab is made the Jodale Perry Co. http://www.jodaleperry.com/
Wen I made a post some time ago about cabs for the TC line I was contacted by email from a man affiliated with this company. and he informed that they make a cab for this line. And a beautiful cab it is. I recently visited their website and priced out this cab. I priced it with a few accesories that made necessory sense to get, but did not price it with any stereo etc. type accesories. The price came to something just over 5K FOB in, I believe Canada.
I sure would like to work some kind of a deal with them to get one and be there New England / East Coast USA Guinea Pig. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I think this is one of the finest looking cabs I have seen. No insult to the Curtis etc. cabs and those that have them. But this cab just blows them out of the water in my opinion. I have looked at the Curtise cab for the TC series and it just plain destroys the look and lines of the tractor.
