Not to further muddle things here but if you've bought the adapter plate why not just use it? In my mind that's the cleanest and easiest not to mention fool-proof way to do what you want. you can hook any spool you want up to it. (assuming the spool is set up with power beyond)
Just match up 3 hoses from the spool to those 3 ports and you're done. I just added a 3spool to my tractor, wish I had an adapter plate option! In the end my solution ended up being simple enough happily.
Yes you could hook into the hydraulic system where the loader valve is but that will take a lot more work and likely more cost.
