Hi Bob !

Actually... Yes I've had the "Tractor" for 7 years... But this is the First season with a snowthrower.

So I didn't have any experience with it and never had to give any real thought to the PTO speed.

I'd agree with Bob.. 600 rpm on a 540 rpm machine is probably within tolerance range.
