I still cant see any reason to cut the hose. I have change probably 1000's of hyd hoses over the years and I cant ever remember having to cut one off. There is a swivle fitting on both ends of the hose. break the hose loose on the top fitting, dont unscrew it all the way. Loosen the lock nut on the swivel fitting and turn fitting to make sure it is not locked tight in the treads. The bottom of the hose is already loose so loosen the lock nut on that swivel fitting and take your cresent wrench and start spinning it out. The fitting should just flip out of the hose end. If it resists, take a pry bar and and pryat the middle of the hose as you turn the bottom fitting. 5 min and this job should be done.
