I have a concrete slab in my driveway that has become uneven over time, and I’m looking for the best way to fix it.

What are the most effective methods for leveling concrete?

Are there any reliable DIY solutions, or is this something best left to professionals?

I’ve heard about self-leveling compounds, mud jacking, and foam injection does anyone have experience with these?

I’d love to hear about your results and any tips you might have.

My first thought is do you have any reason to think that the cause of the settling has been cured? If not, I think any, and all of the things, above are likely going to be temporary.

Mud or foam jacking have a track record of success, but from what I have seen less so in the hands of non-professionals.

I think that self leveling concrete materials are easy to use, though not cheap. I think that the right prep work to ensure adhesion is vital for success (surface preparation/roughing, cleaning, drying, priming, etc.), and I personally think that their success rate is lower in areas that are subject to freeze / thaw cycles. Not every one does the prep work, or does it well, and then they seem shocked when the new surface starts spalling off.

I would add that sometimes surface grinding the lip is a possible solution as well.
