Hello everyone,

I'm looking for advice on how to properly install a heavy-duty hydraulic breaker on an excavator or a backhoe. I am also curious if these hammer breakers can be installed on any other types of machines.

Any advice or Suggest could be value to me, thanks and advance.

The machine first must be plumbed to run the breaker and the breaker sized for the machine. I have ran them on Bobcats, Backhoes and excavators.
They are rough on pins and bushings. They require regular greasing. Most larger dedicated units on excavators have an automatic grease pump.
But to answer your question yes you can put one on your equipment.

Just be sure you have enough hydraulic flow and pressure to meet the specs of the hammer. Excavators typically have enough flow, but I don't know about a backhoe. And it's very unlikely that a tractor mounted backhoe would have enough flow.
