Good point. The last time we had any significant rain was when Dave Nay was trying to bring in hay. Dave, (if you're listening) would you mind cutting some more?

I have always found that putting a new roof on your house will cause a week or more of rain as soon as you get the old shingles about half way torn off.

So dry here the ticks are carrying canteens.

Washed and polished my wife's car, nary a cloud in the sky. However, we do have a lot of ozone! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Just keep in mind that it is all down hill from this point till we are back in winter. The days are getting shorter and in theory, the temperatures should start dropping, however it never works out that way, and come August, we will probably get some of the hottest days of summer. Seems that Government is trying to control all aspects of our lives, but they have yet to master control over the weather. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If it would rain, my hay would grow enough that it needed cutting again! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Besides, I think that was one storm I don't really want to be out in again like that!

Edit: Whaddaya know? I just checked the radar, and it is apparently raining at home.

I'm doin my part for the rain--I washed and waxed my 04 F-150 yesterday morning. Of course I parked it in the garage because we had a forecast for T-storms and wouldn't ya know it, it didn't rain. Tonight while I'm at work the truck is in the parking lot till 0700 Tuesday when I get off, rain will be sure to drop out of the sky by then.
The humidity is so high and it is so muggy right now that I am awaiting the sky to open up and dump a bunch of rain on us, the bad part is it will be much too quick.

I found the answer!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I watered the garden... Sprinkler ran for 5-1/2 hours. (That'll send the water bill through the roof) I shut it off, went to bed, and the rains began. Right on time....

We got .65". Not all we need, but enough to keep my corn and soybeans alive. More rain is forecast for today and tonight.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
