How to make Tractor tires last longer???

So what our Everyones methods on helping tires last longer? Obviously having the machines inside helps, but what else?

:laughing:, im talking about rubber breaking down, not wearing down.
PS: Our big Ag tractors dont have PTOs.

I'd say to do like RV'rs and campers do.
Cover the tires.
Ever notice that all RV's have a sack over the spare? and when parked they cover all the tires as well.

Tire shine helps condition the rubber and prevents weather checking.

Running tractor tires at low PSI is a fast way to shorten their life.

My kubota dealer had a can of black tire treatment setting on the shelf and it looked to be at least 10 years old. Went in to buy some parts for the hay baler,and he gave me two qts. to get it off the shelf. Painted on the rear tires and it filled in the weather checks and cracks pretty well. It did not come off when plowing snow either. Great product used it and do not remember the name.
