How to protect the metal floor of my newdump trailer from my Bobcats metal tracks?

I'm assuming the 873 is tied/chained down to the trailer so you must be concerned with lateral movement? Could you put some rubberized chocks in place when driven up into the bed so that the tracks are partially on the chocks? Another thought is having a special boot(wheel clamp) made that you can easily put on and take off that would keep the tracks from sliding.

It is a working tool.
Forget about waxing etc.
Use it as intended and look the other way.

Take it to a bedliner place and have them spray it. Any color and will probably last forever.

The trailer, outside of the bed, is completely covered in this stuff. Looks tough, but I'm sure the Bobcat would rip it up pretty quick.

Go dump a load of 6" gravel and a then a couple of stumps in it. Then it will already be scratched up and you won't worry about the tracks anymore. This is a dump trailer, not a show trailer.

Yeah, been there, done that. She ain't gonna win any blue ribbons any more. The Bobcat METAL tracks make loading and unloading on bare metal a little butt puckering. Plus, she don't don't give a rodent's **** if she bends a wall or takes something out.

They sell material called puck board (used on the boards in a hockey rink) in our area a lot of people line the dump trucks and farm equipment to protect it and ease the unloading of sticky and abrasive materials

Interesting!

My first thought was 妬t痴 a trailer?, but reading again I think his concern is that it slides on the trailer floor. The conveyor belt idea sounds like a winner to me. I don稚 think spray bedliner is going to stand up well to metal tracks, at least not for long. Heavy conveyer belt will last a lifetime.

Exactly!

Horse Stall mats can be purchased at most farm stores. They could be thrown down when you haul your skid steer to prevent metal to metal damage. I would imagine 3 would fit nicely in your trailer. Just cut holes for the d-rings.

Another good idea! I actually thought of this stuff cause I got some on my cellar floor from a job site years ago.

Does the Blonde with the broom come with them?

Thanks!

FWIW, I put old snowmobile tracks on my ramps for my SS with OTT's. Depending where you position your machine for transport on the trlr., you could bolt the front of the tracks down into the bed, and roll them up and stow them against the trlr. headboard somehow for dump work.

Interesting idea also! Gonna give that some thought.

I understand how that could get interesting. I can tell you from experience what happens when you are careless and leave a chain on a steel rollback deck and run over it.
