As others have stated - use TWO jacks when raising the rear.
Here is a shot of the black jack centered under the rear drawbar hitch and the grey one [smaller] was used to stabilize.
[2x4 on the left was to level the ground]
When I did the other side, I moved the grey jack to the other side.
I was installing wheel spacers on the rear at the time.
[those yellow things are Pat's hitches, circa 1999 - they are on their THIRD tractor...]
Yellow helps me not put a shin into the 3 pt in low light - they do nothing to keep me from walking into them in full sunlight....
