Front-End Loader How to remove FEL without hydraulic power

/ How to remove FEL without hydraulic power #31
A strap from the bucket to the top of the loader towers are not going to do anything on this style of loader brackets, now if his has a good solid ROPS , he could run from the top of the bucket to it with a come along or similar item to support the bucket. Remove the jack and blocks then use the come along to slowly lower the bucket, once the stands touch and the bucket keeps lowering it will lift the rear towers off the frame brackets.

Thanks heaps for all the responses.

Asking a neighbour for help is not a good idea around here. The one guy with a tractor is accident-prone, dangerous and cannot work as a team (he let his other neighbour's borrowed tractor run away to finish up under water in his big pond... and habitually has other such issues, but that's another story). I hope to live longer...
.
Seem's that I recall Wagtail working for several days getting something out of his pond several months ago.
Was that a neighbour's tractor? He told us it was a pontoon boat with a hole in it.

With the engine off, when you move the joy stick any fluid under pressure will go into the reservoir, until all pressure is removed.
If the bucket is up the bucket will lower.
I would not remove any pins form the cylinders

Silly me, should have thought about this. Will reconnect the 4 hydraulic lines next, then disconnect again.
