How To Remove PTO Switch ? GT-2550

PTO won't engage, and I want to replace the yellow PTO switch. I can un-plug the back of it, but how in the world do you remove the yellow-handle part? Seems it is held into the dash-board with numerous push-in clips. Thanks guys.

There are two push clips on each end of the switch. Some also have a metal tab that you have to remove before depressing the clips. And even then it will be fun to get all the clips to release. Most of the time one end will come loose and then you can't get the other end to release. Just takes time and patience.
