As Mike said, if the price was right, I would buy it.

It's not the complete piece of junk some implied. With a couple hundred in parts & some self supplied labor someone that can't afford new could get a lifetimes use out if it, using it as it was built to be used. And I still thinks that is a quality sales pitch. Why was it on u tube?

I agree that it is not a complete piece of junk, and the seller seems to be
doing what he can to disclose known faults. Someone may have gotten
a bargain on this unit. Youtube is a useful tool for any seller.

The listing on Youtube is stated to be a demonstration to a prospective
buyer, and the unit is sold. The video is 4 months old.

Barrett's equipment is a Kioti and Yanmar dealer, as well as a rental
company, according to their website. Yanmar equipment and Kioti tractors, loaders, excavators and other machinery in Englewood, Florida - Excavator Vio20
I am a bit surprised that they were selling this particular CK30 without
doing some minimal fixes first, esp since they are a Kioti dealer.

I agree, regardless of how it got that way, the tractor is what it is, and the guy seems to have no qualms about pointing out the issues with it. If a case like this, if that's what you're looking for and you can buy it right, buy it...

Barrett's Equipment is a rental company which evidently rents equipment that should be red flagged and taken out of service. Only a bunch of bums would allow a piece of rental equipment to regress to this level of disrepair.

Maybe it was a trade in. :confused3:

Regardless of what we think I don believe we need to give allot of credit to the person for detailing the issues. Unless these are done to distract from a bent rod etc.
It needs/needed work and he pointed it out, all things that would be on the table to negotiate with ..
Again I'm impressed that he was so forthcoming. I would be the same...I once bought a used car it was great 500 dollar model.
well the guy did everything to cover up that the windshield leaked a bit. Still bothers me as he knew when he delivered it it rained and he had a coffee can under the leak lol.Easy fix, some seal all and it was fine..But from the git go he told me of the leaking heater hose.
Seal-All Contact and Sealant Adhesive 1109
ill lug the product as i go lo its good cheap stuff. many uses..

You guys should ease up a bit. This tractor is from a customer who is about to lose his house to a foreclosure and wanted me to sell it the best way I can. I found him a buyer and the buyer wanted me to show him the things that I told him about the tractor over the phone so he could see it himself. I have never owned this tractor, rented this tractor or was told to repair this tractor. The used equipment that I own and sell I repair and the equipment I rent is in top notch shape. If you ever have any questions about what I do please go to my website and contact me.

I just read this for the first time, and you seemed to be very concerned with pointing out the condition of the unit. Good that you pointed out the situation of the seller now.

Thank you Jake.

When this buyer gets the tractor in New Jersey, 1,500 miles away I don't want him bashing me about sending a junk tractor to him because by then it's to late. I wish I was here months ago to clear this all up. Anyway the buyer got the tractor and said that the tractor was described perfectly. He liked my honesty about the condition and the video and hopes to do business again with me soon.
