Did you have a ballast box or implement on the 3-pt? I ask because you mentioned
the load on the front tires creating ruts which made me think you were using
the tractor without rear wheels weights, filled tires, and/or some weight on the
3-pt.
We moved up from the 4100 HST to the 3520. When the first heavy snow of the season
happened, I was out-of-town. I get a call from my wife saying my son had
taken the tractor out with the FEL to do some snow removal.
He plowed down the sloping drive and turned around to make a pass coming up
the driveway and couldn't make it up the slope - the drive wheels would spin.
The first question I asked was did you put the ballast box on the 3-pt. They
backed the tractor up the driveway and hooked the ballast box to the 3-pt.
Problem solved.
My other son has buried the 3520 in the wetlands twice, but knew to
use the FEL to lift and push the tractor backwards. He, too, ventured out
without the ballast box both times.
Glad you were able to get the tractor out and your truck. Reading your posts,
I had this vision of your stomping about, muttering to yourself. I think anyone
who posts here has been in a like situation.
