Very nice, congrats to all. There is not a Boone & Crocket or pope & young out there that measure up to the success of a kids first though. My girl is two and I'm grooming her to go next year!!!!!

I shot a running coyote opening morning. I then proceeded to miss a big 8 pointer standing broadside. I had to watch him for 20 minutes to get a clear shot and I must have been counting points too long. When I stop getting excited enough to miss is when I'll stop going hunting.

I'd post a pic, but that tree I shot is a long ways into the woods... and the buck next to it vacated the premises long ago.

Last day of season I killed a tree shooting at a doe, so don't feel too bad Jstpssng.

My daughter got this guy early in the season. 185 pounds, which is considerd pretty big around here; 18" spread. We were sitting on the ground against my favorite tree. Five does had been blowing at us and stomping around for 15 minutes just before he came down the hill.
