Alarm, hd hidden cameras, sensors, equipment hidden behind double wall, underground? Is it possible to install some alarm which will trigger my cell phone and I can speak to some speaker on proprietary and scare theft?

One of the best ways to protect from theft is don't tell people what you have and how you protect it from theft.

Yes, is a good advice but still not an answer for a clear question.

Theoretically is not a way to stop a thief to do his job. You can have locks everywhere, if the bad guy wants it, he/she will have it. Just for reference, a neighbour down the street had some tools in a shipping container. In one weekend he found the special lock cutted with the oxy flame so, no device to stop the thief. The way is to prevent and recover: cameras on property, tracking device on tractor, alarms and a good insurance.

Used a sign that says "We call 911 for clean-up".:cool2:

Take good pictures of your stuff and close-ups of serial #s and VIN #s to show ownership and give the law pics to send out.

Security is an illusion.

Newbury's response is every bit as relevant as yours. Cameras record events, not deter them. Alarms in rural areas are a waste. You offer no answer to the still clear question: How to prevent theft?

The question was: "...How you protect farm from theft??? " and not How to prevent theft? But let's be collegial with each other and help the guy with advice.

There are a lot of summer homes in my area and during the winter months no one is around to deter theft. The area had a bad rash of random vandalism a couple of years ago also. I set up some video cameras in my house and then invited all the neighborhood kids over so they could see themselves and their buddies on the computer screen. My thought was to get the word out that this house had cameras.
Don't know if it did any good but it sure couldn't hurt.

All of my equipment is in a locked barn with the keys stored in another building. If I will be away for a few days or longer I remove the main fuse or breaker from each piece of machinery. Sure this all could still be stolen but it would take a lot of time, knowledge and energy once a piece of machinery has no electrical power.
