Original Howard tines for a HR-30 will have Howard and 3900/3901 stamped into the Blade for your tiller. If both are not there they did not come through Howard. Howard does not make their own tines, just as Ford doesn't make their own tires. Yes some Howards were assembled in England and France but that was in the late 70's and early 80's so their tines would have been sourced from those countries. Howard's primary supplier of tiller blades is CUMAR in Spain. If you see R2L or L2L stamped in the blades they have come from a supplier in California that is notorious for selling Chinese blades. We have CUMAR blades but can't have Howard stamped in them because of trademark restrictions.
