neil,
am glad the qu.org program was clarified to . . . but i just left the quail unlimited websight . . . and it looks more like a recruitment page (of course),
along with a kubota and land pride logo. with the clear pitch / implication of join and save. i did not see any disclaimers . . . about these discounts being for existing members (and not new ones!) as you stated.
can you help us with the fine print? would it make sense for kubota or land pride to limit their partners / potential target group of buyers, with an existing member clause . . . perhaps, but i can't figure it out. on the other hand, if i assume that you are a dealer that prices product aggressively to move more product . . . if someone comes in with a membership card seeking that additional discount, that may not be the most very straight forward way of doing it. . . and no slam intended. all dealers need to make their margins, or face going out of business . . . but having been through the process twice, i often wonder about some of the disparity in the prices i see people reporting that they paid versus my own transaction.
forget my drivel . . . is there a difinative(sp?) answer to the quail unlimited posting? regards, shrekbelly
