Does not look like it will be a whole lot unless you live on the beach or in a low spot. But I am sure my Homeowners ins. will skyrocket now

Chucko:

Packing 70 mph winds but it still has to cross the cuban hill country, I herd a little bit ago that they have already started the evactions in the lower keys.

With all the water I've been getting I don't really need the dumping a storm like this can bring....it's been to wet to mow the pastures and I've had dry weather for the last two days I'm going to try and get them mowed tonight just incase I get pounded with rain Fri. morning

Well they now seem to be saying it might be a cat 2 storm when it hits land on FRIDAY 13th

I may not be on much for the next day or two as things at work will get real busy real fast

I just heard that the storm could reach category 3 before making landfall. Looks like it will be a real gully washer. Winds could be 100+ MPH. Good luck to all of you in the path of the storm!

As of 9 AM this morning (Friday), the track has stayed to the West long enough that when it finally hits, probably near Tampa, the outer edge of the projected path is 60 miles NW of my current location, and 20 miles NW of my Okeechobee property. No doubt there will be some wind and rain associated, but the impact should miss me.

My parents are watching the weather intently -- they are located in Cape Coral (just west of Ft. Myers). As of now, it looks as though it will pass to their north, but you never know. With them being on the south side of the hurricane, they will get a bunch of rain/wind for sure.
