I feel your pain tallyho. Here in Covington, we lost all the trees close enough to the house during Katrina so this one just left lots of water.
I'm still cleaning up today, but my heart goes out to you and your family. Take your time and don't go to overboard on the physical activity with all the heat and humidity. Hope you have electricity!

Oh man! Stay safe, watch those trees and be careful with the chain saw. Heat and humidity along with emotional upset, really take their toll on the body.

Dudley, I had a gut feeling that your experience wouldn't be very pleasant. Little did I know just how bad it was. I hope you recover enough of your buildings to bring back some sense of normalcy soon. We'll be pulling for you. I'm going to make a donation to the Red Cross and I hope you'll let me know of other charities that need cash donations in your specific area.
