hyd cooler hoses bulging - normal?

In cold weather, the pressures are higher, so hoses are under more stress. Are the hoses cracked, etc? zif just bulging, I would chance it if you need to move snow. Mine have bulged and I used it till I was able to get new ones. I never tried the zip tie method. I would be concerned it puts more pressure in one spot. Maybe tape the hoses. Or put a boot over them with zip ties.

I replaced mine a couple years ago with new ones and i zip tied mine with about 10 zip ties on each hose and they still look like new and dont bulge. been on for 2 years now. i woulnt worry about it for now. I ran mine bulging the first time around for weeks. zip tie it for now and you will get by awhile.

zip tie as close as you can to each other and the hose cant bulge out in 1/8inch gap so it doesnt put pressure on one spot like you think. I check mine frequently when hot and running and after 2 years still going strong!

My brand new ones bulged as soon as I put them on, and they were the "improved" elbows.

I blew a couple, and could never tell you when they were "about" to blow, they always looked like crap. (I never zip tied them)

It has certainly been a relief too me to have put on the other set of lines with the straight hoses. I would weigh the cost of that bucket of TDH oil that you will need, along with the cost and expense of digging up a pretty good chunk of dirt and just upgrade to the straight hoses, but we all have to make that decision for ourselves.

Any room for a 'looped' hose?

Mind blew for the second time and cleaning up the mess it makes is no fun. Just replaced mind with the kit this weekend and hopefully this problem is long gone. Just need some advise on the best way to clean up the mess it makes. Thought of pressuring washing but not sure if this is a good idea. Any suggustion would be welcome.

I use purple power and lots of rinsing, pretty agressive on aluminum. Block off my air filter.

Not room on mine to loop the hoses Soundguy, I did it, and it looked like Pooh at best.

The factory repair is clean and efficient, little pricey on the one side, but not blowing 5 gallons of TDH on a customers lawn is darn near Priceless :)

I went through two sets and had the fix on my TC33D. Usually they will look good but when the pressure is on you can see cracks in them. The best thing is to just get the fix that NH has and be done with it. I think they will all swell just a bit there when the engine starts.

My New Holland dealer fixed mine on my new TC-29 under warranty and they weren't even showing signs of wear. I don't know if it is a recall item or not. It might be worth checking.
